Donald Trump accuses Google, Facebook and Twitter of political bias

President Trump slammed the major tech companies Tuesday, accusing Google, Facebook and Twitter of political bias.

Concern about political bias surged in July, when reports surfaced that Twitter had “shadow banned” conversation pundits and politicians, though Twitter denied the allegations.

Leaders from each of the companies came to Capitol Hill to testify in front of lawmakers this year, most recently when Google CEO Sundar Pichai came before the House Judiciary Committee last Tuesday.

Mr. Pichai denied that his company purposefully buries conservative content, as Republicans peppered him with questions about the search engine’s algorithms.
